The Adventures of... films made by Stanley Long's Salon Film Productions, the best of which in both film and book form was Adventures of a Private Eye. As to who actually penned the tie-in books, I have thus far been unable to ascertain that info. Each book was authored by the character in each one, Joe North, Bob West & Sid South respectively, and written in the first person narrative. All three were published by Mayflower, a subsidiarity of Granada Publishing Limited.
